Responsibilities

Perform all operations required to receive all production-related materials and shop supplies. Materials are checked against documentation to insure complete delivery, inspected as required, any discrepancies are reported and accepted material is placed in designated inventory Stock location. Maintain Warehouse Inventory. Transact Material Receipt, Material Issue and Inventory Levels in Great Plains/MS Dynamics ERP system.

Delivers shop supplies to proper Stock location.

Receives customer-supplied material (e.g. Service items) and delivers to appropriate personnel/ location.

Participates in Physical Inventory and performs Cycle Counts weekly.

Insures compliance with FIFO and monitors Inventory and Shop Floor Stock locations for material expiration dates.

Loads outgoing shipments to customer, generates the appropriate paperwork and way bills.

Loads outgoing production waste materials (e.g. molding & turning scrap, process fluid drums)

Prepares palletized product for Sterilization pick-up.

Coordinates sub-contract Receiving and Inspection documentation.

When required performs QC Inspection, acceptance/rejection and documentation of incoming raw materials and components. Print acceptance labels for all items.

Initiates Non Conforming Material Reports for rejected incoming materials, incoming components, WIP and finished goods. Reports all quality problems to the QA Manager for investigation and resolution

Maintains Quarantine Cage. Keeps Stock locations clean and organized.

Perform Shipping and Final QC operations as required.

Assist in continuous improvement programs and events.

Education and Training

High school education or equivalent, minimum of 3 years experience in a Manufacturing environment. Lean Manufacturing experience a plus.

Certified forklift operator preferred; ability to obtain certification is required
Above average PC and math skills, with good written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail required.

Training shall be provided on software programs (e.g. Great Plains, Loftware) Premier products, specifications, tolerances and examples of likely defects that may be encountered in the performance of these duties.
