JOB TITLE: Warehouse Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION: Reports to the Director of Operations for direction. Responsible for the direct supervision of all warehouse operations of picking, packing, repackaging, inventory control, receiving and shipping.
The Warehouse Manager responsibilities include:
• Leverage inventory control procedures and standard warehouse practices to ensure efficient processing of customer orders and supporting functions. Monitor the picking and packing of orders, check inventory levels, and review adjustments, credits and incoming product.
• Utilize daily, weekly, and monthly key performance indicators (KPI’s) to drive continuous improvement in all aspect of warehouse operations. Become proficient at gathering data, defining KPI’s, and building tools to measure and improve operations.
• Develop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly schedules to maximize customer service, warehouse cost efficiency & inventory accuracy.
• Learn and maintain Inventory (ERP) system, including picking and receiving workflows. Develop strong understanding of integrations to external systems, and learn to troubleshoot integrated workflows when needed.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, ISO 13485, the Medical Device Regulation, and the FDA Title 21 CFR Part 820.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, etc. to resolve problems, administer special orders and expedite material and products as needed to meet business requirements. Respond to requests to provide special handling of customer orders or products.
• Supervise cycle counting and the reconciliation of discrepancies. Organize and supervise annual physical inventory.
• Meet with vendors, suppliers and shippers to discuss equipment, delivery services, damages and routings.
• Prepare and submit budgets, reports, documents and records required by company policy. Act as Chair of the Safety Committee. Monitor maintenance of warehouse and equipment.
• Convey, enforce and observe all company policies and regulations including safety, housekeeping, quality of work and confidentiality of information.
• Perform other duties as requested or necessary to meet business conditions or changes.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Warehousing in Medical Device, Pharma, or other regulated product required
• 3-5 years of management experience in warehouse operations
• Strong PC skills including MS Excel, MS Outlook, Sharepoint, etc required
• Strong experience utilizing ERP and WMS platforms to manage and control operations required. WMS Implementation a big plus
• Bachelor degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Business, or related discipline preferred
• B2B warehousing experience required, B2C also is a plus
