Job Title: Associate Product Manager
Reports To: Director of Product Management

Position Summary
The Associate Product Manager (APM) plays a key role in supporting Premier Dental’s product strategy, execution, and lifecycle management within a lean product organization. This early‑career role focuses on gathering customer and market insights, supporting upstream marketing activities, partnering with R&D and manufacturing, and ensuring that product initiatives are aligned with clinician needs and business objectives.

The APM contributes to the definition, development, and performance of assigned product lines while assisting with cross‑functional coordination as new products move through the commercialization process.

Upstream Marketing & Product Strategy
• Support market research efforts including voice‑of‑customer (VOC) interviews, surveys, competitive assessments, and trend analyses.
• Assist with identifying unmet clinical needs and translating them into product requirements or enhancement opportunities.
• Help prepare business cases, product briefs, and value propositions for new product concepts.
• Participate in clinician evaluations and field feedback programs; synthesize insights into clear recommendations.
• Monitor product performance metrics (sales trends, margins, usage patterns) and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to identify improvement areas.
• Maintain deep familiarity with assigned product categories, competitive offerings, relevant clinical workflows, and regulatory considerations.

Product Lifecycle Support
• Assist with day‑to‑day product line management, including SKU maintenance, packaging updates, documentation changes, and supply chain coordination.
• Support pricing analysis, product positioning, and messaging updates in collaboration with Marketing Communications.
• Contribute to the development of training materials, product guides, and educational resources for internal teams and external partners.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations to support new product development activities, ensuring alignment with market requirements.
• Participate in technical reviews and feasibility discussions to understand development constraints and opportunities.
• Support the preparation of product launch materials, timelines, and readiness documentation.

Project Coordination
• Coordinate tasks, deliverables, and information flow across teams involved in product initiatives.
• Track key milestones and dependencies to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Document meeting notes, decisions, and changes to ensure organizational clarity.
• Assist in risk identification and issue management by gathering necessary data and communicating impacts.

Qualifications
• Strong interest in product development, upstream marketing, and the dental or medical device industry.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to synthesize data, customer insights, and market trends into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a cross‑functional environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to learn technical product details.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in product management, marketing, project coordination, or a related role.
• Experience using content management systems, CRM tools, or data platforms is helpful but not required.
• Ability to travel 10-20%
