JOB TITLE: IT Support & Systems Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support & Systems Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of hands-on IT professional who can manage and support our Microsoft cloud infrastructure while also providing frontline support to end users. You will play a key role in maintaining our Microsoft environment and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Work is on-site at Premier Headquarters located at 1710 Romano Dr, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462

Occasionally travel to 10090 Sandmeyer Ln, Philadelphia, PA 19116

Schedule: 40 Hours per week Monday through Thursday: 8am to 5:00pm, Friday 7am -1pm

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts.
  • Assist in the maintenance of security policies and procedures.
  • Assist with regular system audits to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
  • Be a technical liaison to users on best practices for cybersecurity and data protection.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, network, software, and printing problems.
  • Train employees on how to use new technology.
  • Support Microsoft Office 365 and related products.
  • Perform computer imaging
  • Handle basic Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and system administration tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:1-5 years of experience in IT support and cybersecurity.
  • Certifications:Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Windows
    • Knowledge of network protocols and security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
    • Experience with security tools such as antivirus software, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.
    • Familiarity with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
    • Required Technical Skills (minimum 1 year experience):
      • Familiarity with Windows 10 or Windows 11.
      • Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
      • Knowledge of mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows).
      • General hardware diagnosis and deployment.
      • General software troubleshooting.
    • Soft Skills:
      • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
      • Required General Skills (minimum 1 year experience):
        • Ability to adapt to unexpected changes or events.
        • Quick learner with the ability to apply knowledge to similar issues.
        • Experience providing on-the-job training.
        • Effective communication via Teams, emails, video calls, phone calls, and in-person meetings.

Bonus Skills:

  • Executive support experience.
  • Experience in a small company environment.
  • Microsoft 365 Admin experience.
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing.
  • Basic comprehension of low voltage electrical systems.
  • Basic understanding of network design and configuration.
  • Basic understanding of audio, video, and conferencing hardware.
  • Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IT and cybersecurity.
