JOB TITLE: Warehouse Utility 2 – RECEIVING
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Warehouse Utility 2 – Receiving responsibilities include:
- Confirmed previous Receiving Experience Required.
- Reports to the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor for direction. Perform a variety of duties to inspect incoming merchandise to ensure full compliance with company, FDA and ISO 13485 quality standards.
- Position requires following all appropriate SOP’s as outlined in the company ISO9000/EN13485 Quality Policy Manual. Apply a risk based approach to all applicable elements of the QMS
- Observe all company policies and regulations including safety, housekeeping, quality of work and confidentiality of information.
- Receive, load/unload, inspect for damages and sign for inbound and outbound shipments. Deliver packages to internal departments and personnel daily. Stock flow racks and picking shelves with merchandise every morning for 2 hours.
- Work from prescribed procedures, computer terminal and receiving documents to check product for acceptability. Receive, unpack product, and visually examine for appearance. Verify accurate quantity received Use Product Catalogs, Dynamics, Putaway Report or Work Instructions to process receipts.
- Ensure product, packaging and labeling meets all appropriate regulatory requirements as determined by Product Manager.
- Move product to appropriate area. Repack, Storage, Picking, etc. Reaching, Pulling, Lifting, Pushing cartons up to 50 lbs consistently required. Safely stack and secure palletize products for storage in high bay double deep racking. Valid forklift license is required at all times.
- Coordinate inventory records, assemble special kits, and/or pick, check, pack and process orders for shipment.
- Use PC and Dynamics software to investigate and resolve inventory difficulties, transaction and location errors. Adjust inventory records and locations as needed. Provide inventory control support for other employees and other departments as requested. Perform periodic cycle counts and annual physical inventory. Maintain proper records, logs and transfer of stock.
- Assemble bulk orders, medical or dental. Participate in cycle counting and annual physical inventory.
- Use PC and Dynamics software. Operate fork lift, manual material handling and dock equipment, scales, stretch wrap and shrink wrap machines.
- Assist with Order Picking, Repack, Cycle Count and Physical inventory and other duties as requested or necessary to meet business conditions or changes.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or its equivalent
